it has some basic uses that could be a source for a sweep or noise for another testing program, any decent testing program will include these sounds within the program. but it allows a second test time to compare and see if you get 2 exact results. if not then neither can be considered correct or useful in test results.

Great. Thank you. However, would be nice to have tones with Frequency accuracy 0.001 or at least decimal.

Great for Testing amplifiers and speakers. Can check speakers for Response Curve - Lf And high frequency. Gives an idea of an Oscilloscope, minus the waveform. Electronics is my Obsession!!! Hobby!!!
