About this app

A thought should not disappear just because you have not decided where it belongs yet. ThoughtFerry gives you a fast Android quick-capture inbox, saves the capture locally first, and lets you route it deliberately when you are ready.

Capture notes, links, snippets, reminders to yourself, and supported content shared from other Android apps. Your capture goes into ThoughtFerry’s Local Inbox before any external delivery begins, so choosing a destination does not have to interrupt the moment of capture.

ThoughtFerry is designed for the gap between having an idea and deciding where to keep it. Use it when you want to record something immediately without opening a full notes app, task manager, or automation workflow first.

ROUTE CONTENT WHERE IT BELONGS

Send captures to supported destinations instead of copying and pasting them later. ThoughtFerry currently supports:

• Local Inbox for durable on-device capture
• Markdown files through Android’s Storage Access Framework
• User-owned HTTPS webhooks for custom workflows and automations
• Android Sharesheet intake for text and supported attachments

REVIEW WHAT HAPPENED

ThoughtFerry keeps delivery history so you can see whether a routed capture completed, needs attention, or has an uncertain external outcome. Failed or unresolved captures remain available for review instead of being silently discarded.

BUILT AROUND USER-CONTROLLED DESTINATIONS

Your destination remains the system of record. ThoughtFerry helps move captured content into the tools and files you already use rather than trying to replace them with another all-in-one workspace.

Core capture does not require a ThoughtFerry account. Network access is used when a selected route requires it.
