Modart is a radio station that features modern, alternative, and local music. Whether produced underground or in the popular music space, it is interested in the creativity of music and the alternatives it offers to the prevailing market.

Modart's selections prioritize rock, punk, jazz, hip hop, pop, and electronic music genres and their expansions. Our focus is on contemporary examples and modern sounds of these genres. This is the music that Modart's selections express themselves with the motto "New Wave."

Our priority will be to promote the work of independent musicians and labels, new bards, those who have built their own sound, and musicians who introduce new ideas and avoid repetition or imitation. Creativity and originality may not be prominent characteristics in music genres with their own standards, such as blues, rock, jazz, punk, and some forms of electronic music. However, we will always include new productions from these genres.

Despite changing listening habits, Modart is a movement that believes in the cult and culture of radio and its influence. It's clear that many musicians who are ignored by the market, those we call the "New Wave," have listeners. Radio Modart will spread this wave, starting from this very perspective.
