Rainwright is a one-finger rain-routing puzzle designed for portrait mobile play. A hillside city has endured a long drought, and you are its new rainwright: a craftsperson who reshapes roofs so every useful drop reaches the right cistern. The playable first release spans four ridges and twelve authored districts. Each district contains four connected storms, creating forty-eight handcrafted challenges that progress from direct introductory routes to demanding layouts with tighter budgets, evaporation, ridge constraints, overflow risk, and multiple cistern targets.
Tap a roof tile to select it, then raise or lower its height or turn its ridge. Every change has immediate visual and audio feedback. Preview runs the same deterministic RainSolver used by Release, so the route, projected cistern amounts, and overflow warnings you study are the results the game will judge. When the plan is ready, Release the rain and watch that result play through the existing three-dimensional roof town, water ribbons, and cistern models. Editing stays clear and two-dimensional; the 3D sequence is reserved for the downpour and its outcome.
A district is a four-storm journey rather than four disconnected boards. Roof decisions and limited resources create continuity, while Storm Articles introduce strategic changes between storms. Six Article types can soften rainfall, add an adjustment, preserve route memory, or alter other constraints. Spare Drops support ordinary redraws, Town Seals record restoration progress, and each completed district adds a Water Leaf to the Water Chronicle. There you can read the district story, compare drought and restored views, and replay a completed water route.
Advertising is optional and never solves the puzzle. Rewarded ads may provide daily Town Seals, one free Article redraw, a recovery option after failure, or a bonus to an earned district reward. They do not move tiles, reveal an answer, or impose a mandatory energy system. Interstitials are limited to infrequent return transitions and share a cooldown. You can play the complete route-planning loop without accepting an ad.
Rainwright uses real Godot mobile-target visuals under the Compatibility renderer. It presents deterministic game water, not a promise of physically accurate fluid simulation. It is not an open-world exploration game and does not include online multiplayer. Every store image in this package combines a real English runtime capture with a separate marketing frame while preserving the readable roof, route, cistern totals, and controls.
