About this game

Vaultfall is a portrait 3D structural puzzle set in a scholar city uncovered beneath a retreating sea of sand. Read each arch, support, bridge target, archive entrance, and protected stone plate, then shape a controlled collapse that opens a route for the survey crew. Cyan stones with pulsing rings are the supports you can tap. One tap extracts the support, plays the dust response, and automatically previews the resulting fall. Stones that land safely turn green, while stones that could crush a plate or block the entrance turn red. A compact result strip reports the bridge, relic, and door at the same time. You still make the final irreversible choice by pressing Release Fall.

The current build contains three ruin bands and twelve complete Vaults. Every Vault has four increasingly demanding excavation sections, for forty-eight authored structural puzzles in total. Early sections teach a single support and an obvious bridge slot. Later sections combine obscured anchors, rear supports, multi-stone routes, higher load pressure, and staged stair landings. Three fixed viewing angles reveal front and rear relationships without requiring a free camera or multi-touch controls.

Preview, Release, and archive Replay all use the same deterministic structural solver and state hash. A failed retry preserves the same authored structure, so each report teaches you something useful instead of replacing the puzzle with random physics. The visual simulation represents the implemented rules of each Vault; it is not a promise of unrestricted destruction or a general-purpose physics sandbox.

Between sections, choose one of three Survey Notes. Four notes are currently available, changing preview depth, support refunds, hidden anchors, or Survey Seal rewards. Wedges can redraw the offered notes. Survey Seals track long-term progress. Completing a Vault can recover one of twelve launch Archive Plates, and the Archive Gallery replays the real recorded collapse for recovered entries. The game supports English and Simplified Chinese, separate semantic sound feedback, Reduce Motion, active-run persistence, and backup recovery.

Rewarded ads are optional and player initiated. They may grant daily Survey Seals, a free note redraw, one failed-section restore per Vault, or doubled report rewards. Low-frequency interstitial ads may appear only around menu transitions and use a cooldown and blocking wait state. Ads never select a support, reveal a complete solution, or skip the structural puzzle. Vaultfall has no forced energy system and does not advertise online multiplayer or free-roaming exploration.
