Surprisingly accurate This app has seriously changed the way I commute, since I can time the busses so much better. Sure, it takes the 87 a minute longer to get through Davis than the app thinks, but that's no big deal. Excellent, immensely practical app. I really never want to be without this (or its equivalent) again.
Inaccurate data I used to love Catch the Bus when it existed, and this has a similar simple interface with favorite stops. That said, I can't imagine paying because if the unreliability of the data. I've frequently seen buses go from 10 minutes out to two minutes out with no warning, as if the updates aren't in real time. I wouldn't suggest cutting it closer than 10 minutes if you really need to catch a particular bus.
A godsend for the Boston commuter This app is really dependable. Sometimes it says no prediction available for a while but then shows it a little while later, but the number of times that has affected my commute I negligible. It's much easier to use and more effective than the T's official app. The ads less irritating than most. I'd rather close some pop ups than have to pay, so I don't mind at all. The straightforward interface makes it easy to use. I've never had an issue connecting with WiFi or 4g.
Good most of the time It works great the majority of the time, but today I was surprised to find that it said a bus was coming in 3 minutes, and 42 minutes, so I waited to leave my house. Then a few minutes later I decided to check, and it said 10 minutes and 38 minutes. My house is a 15 minute walk from the bus stop so I missed the bus I would have liked to get on to make it to work on time. Usually I take the bus that comes at the time I missed, but since the app didn't list it, I assumed the schedule changed.
Pros: it is super accurate, every day I rely on it to tell me when I should leave my house so I don't have to stand out in the hot summer. I was able to set up a single favorites screen that shows the next bus times at my home and work departure stops for the 2 bus lines I commute on. The app opens quickly to that screen by default, so whenever I'm leaving in the morning or coming home at night I can see the next bus wait time with a single tap from my home screen. Cons: I found the initial searching and favorites setup to be awkward from a UX perspective. Overall it isn't a visually pretty app, but it is highly accurate, fast, and highly effective. Well worth the 1 time upgrade to the ad free experience.
It works great It gives me the information I need in an easy to use lightweight app. It rarely messes up with times, but all apps are like that. I just wish when the T updating feed is down it tells me that instead of saying it's my Internet. Great app overall and the best app for T tracking on the market
