Really simple yet thorough. You can add any type of nutrient or macro (I like to track my 5 a day), it remembers previous entries and you can even add exercise and take off calories from your daily total! Just put a minus sign before the number of calories you burned. It doesn't have a database of its own to tell you how many calories are in a food, but you can always Google that. I'm offline a lot, so it's handy for me to quickly jot down what I've eaten then enter the calories/nutrients later when I have internet again. Really happy with this app. Also: NO ADS! :D
Perfect food journal in that you can enter any food, feed in the cals per portion yourself and it does the maths for you. Sadly it's Xmas and so far all I have eaten is 20 chocolate mints
This app has a rare combination of features: it has offline database, it allows to add custom nutrients/dimensions (say, caffeine or "bread units"), it allows to customize which nutrients are part of the goal, it allows to export (CSV) and back up data! There is at least one interesting upgrade-feature: "catch-up" allowing to carry over to the next day the surplus or deficit of a nutrient or energy. This even sets this app apart from an all-time iOS favorite (Nutrition). One thing missing is a favorites-list to allow to easily select frequently eaten foods instead of typing and searching through the database.
I love its flexibility, you can decide to track carbs or calories, you can adjust portions easily, it takes no time to fill in the diary. So much easier to use than any other I've tried.
This app is f'in amazing, way better than MyFitnessPal, it gives u way more freedom to manipulate the settings, track and measure! Took my months to find an app like this and now been using for 2 years!
Finally, a simple food journal that lets me define my own dietary needs and keep track of them simply without pushy, annoying advice. I can enter each food and the nutritional information for it without having to search some huge database only to find what I eat is not listed.
