This is an app for learning Chinese with your mouth, not your eyes.

The reason you can't bring yourself to speak, no matter how many words you memorize, is simple: you have never actually spoken them out loud. MwaeHwaJung is designed with a flow of "Listen → Repeat → Get Corrected" from start to finish.

■ Real Tones Scored

Most apps only check if the recognized characters are correct. This means you receive a perfect score even if the tones are incorrect. MwaeHwaJung analyzes the pitch curve of your actual voice to determine which tone—from the first to the fourth—was used in the pronunciation. Because it normalizes based on your own voice regardless of gender or vocal condition, you can accurately identify where your pronunciation went wrong.

■ HSK Levels 1 through 6

Listen to and repeat words and sentences organized by level. Since it provides exactly the amount of material for the day, you don't need to worry about where to start.

■ Real-Life Conversation

From taking a taxi and going to the airport to ordering at a restaurant, visiting a hospital, or attending a business meeting, you practice situational conversations by taking on specific roles. Malhaejung is exclusively for Standard Mandarin (Mandarin). Cantonese is not supported.

Microphone permission is required for pronunciation recognition and recording, and camera permission is required to capture Hanja. Both permissions are used only when utilizing the respective features, and even if you deny them, the rest of your learning will remain intact.
