Ratings and reviews

This would be a 5-star rating if it weren't for the ads!! I would pay a nominal one time price for this app because it works really well except there is an annoying ad every time I tap a button! I've never seen an app with this many ads! I understand the need for money for development, but with that many ads running, there should be enough revenue to develop a "premium" paid version without ads!

Didn't have my model of TV to pick from, so it made me go through and try every model's remote to no avail, playing an ad between every THREE different types of remotes. Didn't pick up any of my TV's on my wifi network. Maybe I'm just unlucky. Too many ads. One five second unskippable ad every two minutes is not appealing. Took me almost ten minutes to set up and discover it wouldn't work.

The app is pretty good. The split between the touchpad and buttons is a little awkward, but it does the job really well. However, the ads are more aggressive than any other app I've ever used. A full screen popup ad shows after every two or three clicks in the app. It's infuriating. Looking at other reviews, the folks who make the app have been apologizing for the ads for almost two years now and saying "they'll get the folks who manage the ads to fix it." Clearly they haven't.
