About this app

RePill is an app available for Android devices to help patients take their medication regularly. Better compliance increases the chances of successful treatment. It is easy to manage a medication regime with RePill, as it lists the precise designation and dose of each prescribed medicine and the time it is to be taken. One feature of the app is its simplicity of use: the Swissmedic barcode for a medicine can be scanned, for example. To do this, hold the Android camera steady over the medicine barcode for a moment. RePill recognises the medicine and registers it automatically. All that remains is to select the pack size and dosage strength. The app manages the patient's medicine stocks and prescriptions, and produces a graphic medication intake report.

RePill app functions:
- You can scan the medicines using the barcode reader or select them from the integrated database using text input.
- Dynamic, optical reminder of the medication you need to take in the next 24 hours.
- Your intake report provides you with a graphic overview of all the medicines you have taken and those you have missed.
- Extended reminder function for intake of several medications at the same time
- You can process the intake report in Excel and send it via e-mail.
- The reminder function for your prescription length reminds you when your prescription is about to run out.
