About this app

Reshow helps you restore deleted WhatsApp messages, reactions, and media — plus save Photo and Video statuses before they disappear.

RESTORE DELETED MESSAGES
Ever had someone delete a WhatsApp message before you could read it? Reshow keeps a local record of what was sent, so even after the sender deletes it from the chat, you can still see what was originally there.

RESTORE STATUSES
View and save WhatsApp Photo and Video statuses to your gallery while they're still live — restore your favorite moments before they expire after 24 hours or get deleted by the poster.

HOW RESTORE WORKS
Reshow does not access WhatsApp's private, encrypted database. It works by keeping a local log of message content that already reaches your device, and by reading WhatsApp's public status folder while a status is still live — before anything is deleted. Reshow cannot restore anything that was deleted before you installed the app or enabled the required permissions.

ONE IMPORTANT LIMIT
Android never lets any app see messages you send yourself — this is a system-level restriction, not something Reshow controls. So Reshow can only ever restore messages, media, and reactions sent by the other person in a conversation, never your own.

100% LOCAL & PRIVATE
Everything Reshow restores stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded or stored on any server.

PERMISSIONS
• Notification Access — required to restore message content for apps you select
• Storage / folder access — to read WhatsApp's status folder and save media to your gallery
• Exact alarm — keeps background restoring reliable
