Accessibility Service Usage
RetroHrai uses Android's AccessibilityService API to enable global hotkey support for retro gaming handhelds. Specifically, the
"RetroHrai Hotkeys" accessibility service intercepts button events system-wide so that physical gamepad buttons (such as the Home
or Select button) can be used as modifier keys to control volume and screen brightness while playing games. This service does
not record audio or video, does not read screen content, and does not collect or transmit any personal data. It is used solely to
detect multi-button combinations for system control actions.

Ratings and reviews

This launcher is great with a lot of options for customization. It is super fast and easy to get it set up and does all the work for you. My only complaint is with the box art. Most of the games I've seen so far have a picture of the game but aren't the pictures of the actual game covers from the box. I go to change the cover and the box art I want is already there, but isn't set as the box art cover by default. I'd love a quick fix for this!

AMAZING! Feels like beacon except more features and even easier to use, just amazing. I love that it found the rom directory automatically, I love that it suggested using the thousands of scraped assets from ES-DE instead of having to do it all again. I love how easy it is to toggle systems on and off when trying to focus down the handheld to just a few games. The only improvement I can even think of would be show/hide on individual collections and system grouping inside favs/collections. A++

Absolute best front-end for AYN Thor and it's not even close. Gorgeous dual screen options along with default emulators that can be set per game, make this my favourite front and end app I have ever used. Widget support for the second screen to see what's playing on Apple music or Spotify, multiple scraping sources, background music support... it goes on. Kudos on a great product. Can't wait to see what's next!
