UPDATE: After going back in my attic to reset the econet device, I've turned off automatic updates for this app on my phone, and has resolved my issues so far. I will monitor the play store for future apps manually. April 2026 update caused my econet to disconnect from my heat pump.. ugh. After years of battling this app, it was actually working with the previous version. It's almost like they should have a separate app for the water heater and heat pump, idk. Lowered to two stars.

this app is literally garbage, you cannot change any settings with this app, android phone at least, will not let me switch modes from anything in the app, cannot set temp either, have followed all support recommendations and it still does not work, they need to enter this into debug and find out why it is failing. outdated certs on the device? firmware issues?

overall the app is fine. often it will fail to connect for weeks on end and then when it does establish, there are features missing. I'm thrilled with the performance of the hybrid water heater it monitors so regardless of the app functioning, I can see I'm saving on energy use.
