Each champion brings unique, awe-inspiring powers and loyal followers to the fray. Whether you freeze your opponents where they stand (Ashe), plant fungal surprises for sneaky victories (Teemo), build an elaborate combo engine for a spectacular finish (Heimerdinger), no two champions play the same.

ADAPT & EVOLVE
Every run is a canvas for your creativity, offering new cards, powers, and relics to augment your strategy and topple menacing foes. But choose wisely! Challenges increase in difficulty over the course of a run, and from one World Adventure to the next.

Each champion can be upgraded with Star Powers—permanent augments you can unlock between runs. Completing a champion’s Constellation yields immense power—and all new strategies—for you to command.

Ratings and reviews

I had this as a 5 Star review for years. It used to be insanely easy to unlock cards, especially via the event passes, which were actually a fair deal for the money. Day after it gets announced that they're "shifting focus" to a physical TCG, and all the sudden there's tons of people saying there's perpetual loading issues. Not a great look. LoR is still a good source of Runeterra lore, but for all other purposes it's basically dead.

PvE is fun, I didn't come for PvP though. Upgrades for constellations could be cheaper. Monthly challenge could use a revamp in challenges and rewards since new heroes and star levels have been added. New update is making game crash before I can open. This is a pretty common issue when updating. Gives me reservations on updating the game and spending any money on it. -2 stars

Finally, some good food. All my life I've loved card games, but found online versions lacking (outside of fanmade stuff on Tabletop Simulator.) This game is clearly well loved, well crafted, and well balanced when it comes to the grind. It's fun and challenging without being overly frustrating. I've been enjoying it a lot!

What’s new

This patch, the Path of Champions honors community votes by welcoming Nautilus and bringing a refresh for Nasus with a new constellation. Also, a brand new event: Titans of Runeterra which ushers in 5 world adventures featuring one ripe with a whole lot of dragons.
