It feels great to finally start playing a card game that's new and not 10 years old. Since release, its been pretty fun building decks and pulling some OP cards. Its still barely bones but I've learned in the past that mobile games typically get better as time progresses. The only thing that im worried about is the battle pass. I dont want to be fighting impossible battles with someone who pays $$$ monthly. All in all, I'm sticking with this game for a while!

Edit - First update offers hope. After playing since launch, which isn't a huge amount of time, I added a star because the game mechanics are simpler, not dull, but easy to pick up and remain uncomplicated. Much like Magic the Gathering was at first, before it metastasized into the bloated mess it is now. Oh, and *no* forced ads, thank the Lord. The biggest obstacle the game faces is growing a sustained player base. The game is quick and enjoyable, but faces the need for mass media saturation.

Typical Ubisoft product. The game has a lot of potential, but the greed of the developer holds it back. This is a pay to win game. Card acquisition is slow and painful if you aren't spending money on gems. You can buy card packs with gold BUT gold is very slow to come by. They have quests that give gold but the quests take days or a week to refresh. The cost to buy gems is extremely high, especially when the only thing you can buy with them (card packs) typically yield 90% dupes.
