MantisX is a revolutionary training system that helps you improve your shooting precision.

Use of the app requires a MantisX Sensor which can be bought here: http://www.mantisx.com . It attaches to any picatinny rail (or rail adapter if your firearm doesn't have a built-in rail). The internal electronics of the MantisX Sensor collect movement data before, during, and after your shot. The app analyzes the data and diagnoses your shooting mechanics, provides real-time coaching, and determines what you need to focus on to improve most quickly.

Best Decision Ever! I live in a city & can't always get to the shooting range. MantisX allows me to keep up on my shooting skills & timing without having to go to the range. I purchased the Mantis X system about a year ago and since then the support and application have only gotten better. I really enjoy the dry fire drills which is the main reason I purchased it. Additionally, the built-in shot timer saves me from having to use a separate one. If you seriously care about improvement and you have already invested the money in classes and formal training, this is an awesome way to keep getting value without needing to interact with a trainer.

I just purchased the Mantis X3 and I downloaded the Mantis X - pistol/rifle application. It was easy to do the initial setup once I had an account. I have only done two iterations of the basic practice exercise. The feedback is nice, I wish that you could change the information on the target page between the average score and each shot score. I like that it gives you the ability to set different firearm types for each practice iteration. It doesn't have the Springfield XD-S Mod.2 at all though.
