Ratings and reviews

Route has some good qualities. It can add packages from your email and it's fast to pick up changes in status for some shippers. However there are a few issues too. It adds tracking information for groceries that never gets the deliveries. It also has inconsistencies by having 2 different status for the same package. It can get confusing because I don't know which status is correct.

It's ok. I use Shop as well, which I also have problems with. Route is very slow to update its tracking info. Often I have to update an order status manually. However it always includes packages, something Shop has a problem doing. I also like that Route will always display purchases that have a very long delivery, such as a preorder. Shop tends to bury those orders and they are lost in a list of "old orders". Route needs fix its order updating system to work better and it'll be perfect!

I was forced to download this app because the actual tracking number isn't included in the email or on the website. That's pretty abnormal. Then when you do install the app, it requires permissions to view all of your emails because, "it needs the tracking numbers"... That's literally why I was going through this mess. This is a huge red flag and I'd suggest everyone avoid installing the app.
