About this app

MathViz turns abstract math into something you can see, touch, and explore. Type a formula or pick a topic, then drag parameters and step through each idea to understand how it actually works — from parabolas and derivatives to graph algorithms and geometric constructions.

Built for high school students, college students, and teachers who want intuition, not just answers.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Formula Visualizer
Plot functions in 2D with multiple layers at once. Adjust coefficients with sliders and watch the curve, vertex, and intersections update in real time.

• Calculus Room
Explore tangents, limits, and integrals. Build Riemann sums, change the number of slices, and compare the approximation against the exact result on an interactive timeline.

• Graph Algorithms
Create nodes and edges, then run BFS, Dijkstra, and minimum spanning tree step by step. Watch the queue, visited set, and distances update as the algorithm runs.

• Geometry Studio
Construct points, segments, circles, and angles. Measure lengths and angles, lock constraints like perpendicular or equal, and transform your figure.

• Problem Solver
Enter a problem and work through it one step at a time, with clear explanations for each stage.

• Interactive Lessons
Short, focused lessons pair one core simulation with a few questions, so you learn by doing and check your understanding right away.

• My Library
Save your projects and simulations locally, reopen them anytime, mark favorites, and export snapshots to share the exact state of a lesson.

WHY MATHVIZ

• Learn by manipulating, not memorizing — every concept is interactive.
• Clear step-by-step breakdowns connect each move to the reason behind it.
• Works offline: your projects are stored locally on your device.
• Clean, distraction-free design focused on the math.
