Ratings and reviews

The library's content is very good, though hideously expensive on an individual basis. (There is no way I could justify it personally, but my company has a plan.) The reading experience is vaguely dissatisfying. Synchronization across devices is quirky, and there's no way to read on a computer when disconnected. (e.g. on a flight.)

Great content, but Android app is so buggy, review is for app only. For example, when you click on the "downloads" option, it still takes several minutes to show the list. What is this app doing? Aren't the documents already at the phone? If the only thing needed is confirm the status (paid, etc) of the account, why several minutes? Also, some of the downloads show as garbled content, as in unproperly decrypted. You have to un-download, and then re-download. Hire new Android devs!

If you're expecting a Kindle level reader this isn't it. Loses access to content (even downloaded), doesn't sync well, loses highlights between readers and the website and loses track of where you left off even if you're not reading the same title across different devices or the website. Could be better but what other choice do you have?
