Infrared light emitted from your remote is detected with this app. Our special IR Camera Detector Filter detects bright white light which is otherwise invisible to the eye.

IR hidden cameras can also be detected with the help of our IR Remote testor. Many hidden spy cameras also have infrared just like that on remotes which our IR Remote Tester app can detect easily.

How to Use:
- Open IR Remote Tester to see through the filter. If you see a white light while facing the remote towards the camera rrit means your remote is working.

Forget the telemarketing rubbish, I've been using this app for years and has never let me down, a no frills does what it says on the tin, no adds, no marketing,no free trials, and no subscriptions, this app needs more support as it's always done the job for me being an electrical engineer.

I know for sure my remote works. This app simply asks you to press a button on your remote and verify if you "see a light" on your screen (that seems to be in Night Vision mode). I tested this app on my remote and I don't see a light. If this app can't verify a working remote, I can't rely on it to verify a remote that does NOT work.

100% working with Samsung phones, it uses the camera lens, focuses the front of the remote on the app..and presses any button on the remote control while doing that. If there is a white type flash on the remote IR, then it's working.. make sure that the remote batteries are okay.
