Did you just replace your remotes baterry and its still not working? And your wondering wether the problem is in your remote or your tv? Now you can find out by testing your remote from your mobile using this app.

Infrared light emitted from your remote is detected with this app. Our special IR Camera Detector Filter detects bright white light which is otherwise invisible to the eye.

IR hidden cameras can also be detected with the help of our IR Remote testor. Many hidden spy cameras also have infrared just like that on remotes which our IR Remote Tester app can detect easily.

How to Use:
- Open IR Remote Tester to see through the filter. If you see a white light while facing the remote towards the camera rrit means your remote is working.

Not sure why the app has a low star rating, I used this to test the remote for my air conditioner. I couldn't tell if the air conditioner receiver was the issue or if the remote suddenly broke. I used the app to verify that the remote was indeed working just fine, purple light flashes quickly when pointing it at the camera of my phone. App does exactly what it says, very useful tool to have.

Does what it's supposed to do. Simple interface. Very useful app without ads. I'm keeping it!
