This application is software for syncing the Galaxy Watch6 and does not operate on its own.
The Galaxy Wearable application must be installed first for it to operate normally.

- Location: To search for nearby connectable devices to connect to the Gear via Bluetooth
- Storage: To send/receive saved files with the Gear
- Phone: To verify the unique identification information of devices for app updates and for installing plug-in apps
- Contacts: To provide services that require account syncing by using the registered Samsung account information
- Calendar: To provide the sync feature for the Watch and schedule
- Call logs: To provide the sync feature for the Watch and call logs
- SMS: To provide the sync feature for the Watch and SMS

[Optional Access Permissions]
- Camera: To scan QR codes when activating the Watch (models that support eSIM only)

Ratings and reviews

This app does not do everything or needs to do like backup the watch. They want you to install a second app for that. They also offload fitness tools to other apps as well. How many apps do you want me to download? I like my watch, but I will be searching hard for a different brand come the next replacement. Oh and it's a nightmare to figure out permissions for things like weather. Permissions it will occasionally reset on you for no clear reason.

Serious issues with my watch and phone staying connected. I'm always getting notifications that they are not connected. When I open the app and reconnect them, it says I've lost the connection a few minutes later. Please fix this issue as it makes the watch unreliable and unusable, nullifying the whole reason I got it in the first place.

makes the watch disconnect an reconnect endless times, reinstalling the app needs you to reconncet the watch they STILL haven't figured out how to transfer the watch without doing a complete wipe and this issues been there since the GW3 which had the same issue with phone transfers back To the same phone due to random issues that made it necessary to reconnect to the same phone, not to mention bees you to sign in over and over and over
