I'd recommend this app to anyone wanting a stable client to mirror their phone, allow your PC keyboard to be used for text messaging and a whole lot more. i tried and cried many times with other pieces of software before finding AirDroid. It's rock solid and does what it says on the tin! I couldn't recommend it enough, any problems or questions the support team are there and respond very quickly. you will not be disappointed.

Pretty poor all told. The web interface is incredibly slow: they've chosen 'look nice' over 'functional and quick' as their design ethos, trying to recreate a 'desktop OS' type UI, but missing what people want to use their service to do e.g. quickly manage and access files and apps. You can of course install a desktop app, however if you want to use this on multiple PCs then you're going to end up using the web UI. Try entering a camera directory with a lot of photos: it grinds to a halt transferring thumbnails, and there's no way of a plain list without, so they've went part way towards 'desktop UI' but scrapped usability - scrolling of files goes towards 1 fps, it's like crawling through treacle. Don't be wowed by 'eye candy' use it in anger before considering parting with money to upgrade.

I got the android app installed and windows desktop installed. I selected files to transfer but there was no obvious way to actually transfer them. When I did work it out the app did not have access to the /android/data directory where I wanted them to go. So sent them to downloads then used x-plore to move them to android/data. Too much trouble! Used a usb cable in the end!
