YONO SBI lets you Bank, Shop, Travel, Pay Bills, Recharge, Invest, avail IRCTC ticket booking, use UPI to transfer money, book movie tickets. With SBI YONO, convenience has a new name.

Registration process:

YONO is supported on Android 8.0 and above.
Ø Install/Update new version of App from Play Store and open.
Ø Allow all required permission (location, make/manage phone calls).
Ø Select SIM of CBS Registered Mobile Number (RMN) and allow for SMS permission and submit NEXT.
Ø An encrypted SMS with a unique code will be sent from the device to a pre-defined Number 7718965316 to verify the customer. Kindly note that for sending the SMS standard SMS charges are applicable as per your telecom plan. The SIM should have active outgoing SMS facility. In some devices, the user may have to allow sending the SMS from the outbox.
Ø If there are multiple CIFs attached with same mobile number, system will prompt for the account number and DOB for finding out a unique customer by the mobile number.
Ø If the customer is already having online banking facility of SBI, App will automatically prompt to proceed to Register on YONO with existing user credentials (Online Banking User ID and Password). After entering User ID and Password, customer will receive an OTP on Registered Mobile Number. User has to enter the OTP in the app to complete registration with an optional setting of MPIN.
Ø If the existing SBI customer is not having Online banking credentials, App will prompt to proceed to create INB credential using “Account Details” and “ATM Card” based registration process.
Ø If Non RMN SIM is selected, User will land on account opening screen. If customer claims that selected SIM is already registered with bank, user needs to visit nearest branch with KYC for updating/validating the mobile number in bank account.

I had a very bad experience. I'm trying to open my new account since 1 week but it always stuck in between and the app close automatically. And when I tried to resume my application with phone number and password, it shows password is wrong. So, at the end you need to start filling the form from start and the issue repeats again. It's very irritating. Kindly fix the issue.

Very bad app development. I'm trying to register my account and it keeps on crashing at the very last stage while setting up user ID and password. Tried registering more than 10 times. Please consider the reviews sincerely and resolve the issues as soon as possible. It's very irritating, unreliable and unprofessional banking experience with SBI.

A good initiative app to make things easier. But it is more important for things to work accurately. I have reset my password n number of times. But when I login later and start using it suddenly gets logged out and prompts to change my password. Disappointed with the performance. Please fix this issue. And please improve the UI looks so normal.

What's new

As an enhanced security feature and for regulatory compliance, YONO Application is now available on Android version 8.0 and above. Also, the registration process for YONO SBI mobile application has been modified. In the new version user's registered mobile number (RMN) with bank will be validated and users have to ensure the presence of SIM of registered mobile number in their device.
