ScamAvert is currently in beta.
We are actively improving scam detection, alerts and supported scam types. During beta, ScamAvert gives you an extra layer of protection while helping us improve the experience with real-world feedback.
ScamAvert helps protect you from scams while you use your Android device.
Scammers often use urgent messages, fake websites, impersonation, suspicious links and pressure tactics to trick people into sharing money, passwords or personal information. ScamAvert is designed to help spot those warning signs before you respond, click or share sensitive details.
How ScamAvert helps:
• Checks visible screen text for potential scam risk
• Warns you about suspicious messages, links and websites
• Helps identify pressure tactics, impersonation and fraud signals
• Gives clear, easy-to-understand alerts
• Lets you turn protection on or off
• Supports account-based protection across ScamAvert services
Privacy-focused protection:
ScamAvert only works with permissions you choose to enable. On Android, ScamAvert uses Accessibility access to read visible screen text and app context so it can detect potential scams. This access is used for scam detection and protection alerts.
ScamAvert does not sell your personal data. Scam scan content is processed for protection and is not used to train AI models on real user data.
Who ScamAvert is for:
• People who want extra protection from online scams
• Families who want to help loved ones stay safer
• Anyone receiving suspicious messages, links or website prompts
• Users who want clearer warnings before taking risky actions
ScamAvert is not a replacement for your own judgement, bank security, police reporting or professional advice. No app can detect every scam, especially during beta, but ScamAvert gives you an extra layer of protection when something looks suspicious.
Stay alert. Slow down. Let ScamAvert help you spot the warning signs.
