About this app

For parents/guardians and students, the easy-to-use app allows users to quickly review any broadcast sent from the SchoolMessenger service (Phone/Email/SMS) in one place, manage your communication preferences and, optionally, Chat with teachers** or report absences.** Requires WIFI or data plan for internet access. Requires SchoolMessenger Communicate service subscription by the school or district.
Note:
SchoolMessenger Home is used for receiving SchoolMessenger Communicate messages sent by district or school personnel.

This is a terrible app! When this was being rolled out to the DSBONE board, it sounded great. If my child is late for a class, the only option I have is to indicate it's for a full day! No option to indicate a specific period or provide a reason. Also, the absence reason in reporting ahead of time needs to be expanded. Example: medical appointment, out of town appointment. Please fix this as right now it only serves to notify me and does not allow for any useful reporting.

NEEDS an option to save password/stay signed in. I only ever use the online version because I don't use this often enough to remember my password and online has my password manager. ☹️☹️☹️

Works like is made by a 6 year old developer, why school boards are using this joke? It doesn't log in when it should, doesn't remember your log in infor or let Google to access it, now is updating but it says not compatible with your device anymore! :) This is the first app I see is not compatible with your phone anymore, soon nobody will download it! Look at the ratings!
