About this app

Important Notice – Read Before Installing:

The Scotiabank Digital Token app makes signing into specific Scotiabank apps easier than before by simply using this app to get a token value for login.

By pressing the button above and installing the Digital Token app published by Scotiabank, (known as ‘the app’) you:
(i) acknowledge, understand, and agree that the app may contain the functions and features described below, and
(ii) consent to the installation of this app, including the below functions and features, and to any future updates or upgrades to the app which may be automatically installed (depending on your device settings).

The functions and purposes of the Digital Token app are to:
- Register a soft token for two-factor authentication, using the device camera to scan a QR Code
- Use a soft token for two- factor authentication, which is unlocked using device-based login e.g., TouchID/FaceID

We may use and disclose the information that you provide to us in accordance with your account agreement(s) and the Scotiabank Privacy Agreement (scotiabank.com/ca/en/about/contact-us/privacy/privacy-agreement.html).

You can withdraw your consent to these features and future installations by deleting the app or by contacting hd.ccebs@scotiabank.com for assistance. After you delete the app, you will no longer be able to use it unless you reinstall it and provide your consent again.

poor design, hard to transfer to new phone, need to call customer service first

Requires users to setup pattern or passcode in order to use, and it's a pain to turn that on everytime I need the token and then turn it off again afterwards. Also irked that I have to put this on my personal phone for a work account, don't know why they dont allow a work computer to count as the device

for the last few days when I open the token and log in with my fingerprint it only shows a blank screen, no code... I have to open and log on multiple times before I get an actual code it's hit or miss. it's been working fine for the last year and a half... this problem just started recently
