I've been listening for a quite a few months now. I definitely like this better than other book listening apps, I find they keep too much a secret. For example: what books are listed on limited. You can only listen to a certain number of books per cycle but they don't tell you which books or hour many. Then after you have listened to that limit you can't even search for books that are on this secret limited list. They are hidden from everywhere unless you search very very specificly.

The app works fine but has a very limited selection of e-books compared to audiobooks. It loses 2 more stars for me simply because of constantly hitting reading limits - if one could see ahead of time what and where the limits lie, that would be one thing but being unable to finish a series without waiting weeks for renewal when one thinks it's possible to read them all is just poor service. I think I'll try again with Kindle Unlimited or a similar service instead.

I really loved the Scribd app, but do not appreciate the changes which have been forced upon me by the service in recent months. The number of audiobooks one can access has been drastically reduced, as has information about availability of books in general. Titles I listened to years ago are constantly downloading again without my being notified, using storage space and data without my consent. This app and service can no longer get my recommendation, especially after the price increase.
