What happened to Video Assistant? This was a very useful feature and set it so much apart from the rest of the browsers out there. So much so that even though Lastpass didn't work well with this browser, I still use it as my default browser. QRcode capture being built in was also great as I didn't need additional app for it. Now, I'm hoping there's another browser with these missing features out there.

I truly do find Samsung's internet browser to be the absolute best on Android. They give you a ton of customization options and the dark mode is top notch (with even the webpage backgrounds switching to black). My one gripe is in how the app handles AMP pages, for whatever reason it will not allow me to switch tabs or even bring up the toolbar without scrolling all the way to the top of the page. Otherwise this is the perfect web browser! Edit:I'm really enjoying the full screen option in beta!

I've always used Google Search for my home page. This latest beta version , instead of showing just the google search bar, delivers news stories and other things I'm not interested in, including videos! I've searched and tried all google and browser settings and have found no way of eliminating this feature. update: issue resolved. My fault as there were new settings I was unfamiliar with.

Dear Steve Madden, Thank you for you interest in Samsung Internet. We are sorry for the trouble you had with the home page settings. It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide captured screen shot for your home page settings and web page for displaying news stories.
