In my opinion only it's much better than Chrome on the Android phone operating system. I still use Chrome no offense but this is my secondary option in case of an emergency. Not all browsers are equal but this app rocks! I prefer this over anything else at the moment. I could also sync this to my Samsung Odyssey sometimes which is awesome! I like that and that's a cool feature. Overall, it's a good app and I recommend it.

This is a CPU-optimized fork of Chrome. It's faster and smoother than Chrome, and it supports extensions like ad blockers (which Chrome doesn't on Android). I love that it lets you save all downloaded files to your SD card by default. Version 16.x of Samsung Internet is based on Chrome 92, and they iterate along with Chrome, usually a couple of releases behind.

My go to browser, even on non-Samsung devices. Really love the bottom bar gestures and the quick access page layout in particular. One of the recent updates changed the 'find in page' behavior to make it scroll between different hits, which is, imo, a really clunky implementation, especially on larger web pages. The up/down arrow keys on the bottom right occasionally stop working, and waiting 4 seconds in some cases for the scroll animation to zoom past gets tiresome.
