About this app

The Ames On the Go mobile application will give Ames residents the opportunity to report concerns or issues related to Public Works. Requests including a developing pothole, sign vandalism, drainage problems will now have an easy, convenient reporting with the opportunity to track the request and submit pictures. Requests will be limited to public works issues initially but will expand to cover all City departments in the future. The mobile reporting, Ames on the Go, will be available through the app stores and on the City of Ames website. If you have questions or need to report an issue, please call 515.239.5160.

useful when reporting the more obvious things (like pot-holes, discarded fireworks, etc). however, not very useful when trying to report a mass pile of trash being actively littered like cigarettes...twice I got blown off and was told to file a report with the police (even though I CLEARLY stated it was not that type of situation).

Amazing way to empower citizens to report issues to the city so they can be fixed easily! We honestly use this app all the time and the city of Ames is super prompt in responding and acting on reports. Thank you for making this app available!
