ScamJacket helps protect your phone from app misuse, scam tools, and unauthorized access.
Use ScamJacket to lock selected apps with PIN or biometric verification, monitor risky app behavior, detect suspicious security changes, and protect finance apps during high-risk situations.

Network Protection (VpnService Usage)
ScamJacket uses Android’s VpnService to provide network protection features. When enabled, the app creates a local VPN interface on the device that acts as a controlled sink for selected apps.
This allows ScamJacket to block or restrict internet access for sensitive apps (such as finance apps) during high-risk situations or when suspicious behavior is detected, helping prevent data leakage or unauthorized remote control.
The VPN is used only locally on your device. ScamJacket does not route your traffic through external servers, does not monitor or store your browsing content, and does not sell or share your data.
Accessibility Service Usage
ScamJacket uses the Android Accessibility Service API to provide enhanced security and protection. This service is essential for:

Reliable App Locking: Ensuring that selected apps are instantly locked and require verification before they can be accessed.

Uninstall Protection: Preventing unauthorized removal of the app or bypass of security measures by monitoring access to sensitive system settings and package management screens.
•
Real-time Threat Response: Detecting when high-risk or remote-access applications are launched to provide immediate security alerts and protection.
ScamJacket uses the Accessibility Service only for these security-related tasks. We do not use this API to collect, store, or share any personal data, monitor your private content, or capture any sensitive information on your screen.
The use of Accessibility features is optional and can be enabled or disabled at any time within your device settings.
Privacy First
ScamJacket works locally on your device. Security checks, app lock data, selected finance apps, and alerts stay on your phone. ScamJacket does not collect, store, or share your personal information.
