Every blind / vision impaired individual with a smartphone or tablet should own this app - it makes organizing paper documents easy by saving the captured text to your device it's an excellent way to go paperless. The only two minor issues that prevent a 5-star rating are 1. It's tricky to capture document field if you have no vision at all and 2. If you happen to own both Android / iOS devices there's no way to download a single app on both devices without purchasing twice...
Great app, still indian languages should b included
It is an amazing app for visually impaired/impaired
Terrible OCR app! I used to have the KNFB Reader iPhone app, which worked reasonably well on iOS. However, the Android version doesn't even come close to the iOS version in terms of rendering quality OCR, which is terrible, considering that my Android phone, the ZTE Z Max Pro has a far superior camera to the iPhone's camera. Text rendered is barely discernible. The Field of View report button only renders a report once. Very poorly executed, and I'm very dissatisfied with it!
Great for Dyslexic students This works so accurately - taking an immediate photo of a whole A4 printed sheet and reading it out immediately. Using a dark matt background behind the reading material and checking that the light is good helps accuracy.
deep purple flurry
