Ratings and reviews

The app asks for pictures and details and then apparently doesn't pass them along to the contractors. When you click to follow-up on "communications" or auto- replies from contractors, the pages fail to load and you can't exit out of the error. It results in a dead-end where you have to force close the app. Within minutes of submitting the request for quotes, you're asked to review the completed work/repair when you haven't even received a single quote. Wow, this is bad. Uninstalling.

Horrible experience with app and pro Pro never showed, still marked the job complete. No call. I tried calling the 800 number and it only hangs up. Tried to use the chat, but it says it's disconnecting due to inactivity although you just connected. finally someone came on. They told me they would rebook my project but only if I disconnect from the chat. App is awful. constant reloading, error, maintenance coincidentally right after pro didn't show.

I had Angies list for 5 years. I used it a dozen times with amazing success. I was happy with every company I used. Recently they were purchased, changed how their system works, and changed the name to Angie. I've tried the new system for 2 projects. The results have been poor. It appears the business model has changed. It used to be clients paying to get access to a list of honest customer reviews to make an informed decision. Now, the customers are the business and you are the product.
