Ratings and reviews

On the carpentry aspect of this app, you are paying for leads that the customer can choose up to 5 different contractors to contact them about. so you are something against 4 other contractors. it doesn't help much to be the first to reach out to the customer because they usually use your bid to get a cheaper price. I paid for over 60+ leads in and got less than 10% of those jobs. I stay in an area where other contractors will low ball a price just to get the job you cant compete with that.

I had a very bad experience with Angi Pro. They charged me for fake or low-quality leads that never turned into real customers or contracts. I never agreed to or signed any subscription contract, yet they kept changing things on my account without properly explaining anything. I do not have a problem with Angi Leads, but Angi Pro has not been worth my time or money at all. The leads provided through the program were disappointing, unreliable, and in many cases seemed completely fake. Overall,

We started with Home Advisor in 2018. At the time, it was helpful as our business was new. Once it changed to Angi it was awful. The leads were vague or not even our scope! And the cost wasn't shown until I accepted the lead. We became very choosy and passed on a lot because they werent worth it. I only look at opportunities that show the price and gives details about the job. Now our business isn't showing in the app. Angie overcomplicated the interface. We'll be going elsewhere from now on.
