inspector Turbina is an application designed to inform dentists about bearing problems and problems with the power of tools and the need for repairs.
The application is developed by Technodenta Ltd. and all rights to the software and design are preserved.
This application is only developed for air-driven dental highspeed handpieces. It does not works with dental micromotors, angular and straight handpieces.
The information contained in the app is organized in three modules.
Module "Diagnostics" provides a choice of the most used dental turbine models and brands and, after selecting the appropriate operating pressure, reports the turbine revolutions.
The Module "Test" measures turbine revolutions based on the pressure given by the dental unit without specifying the model and brand of the dental turbine.
By measuring the revolutions of a new or properly works turbine, the pressure delivered by the dental unit can be adjusted without the need for a pressure gauge.
The Module "Information" provides app owner data, contact information, and usage guidelines.
This program offers a measurement very similar to that of professional devices by comparing measured data with tabular, but can not guarantee maximum precision.
The purpose of the application is to make it easier for the dentist to save time and money for diagnostics by technician.
The application is also suitable for technicians who perform diagnostics of turbines and dental units.
How to Measure:
Select the module you want to perform the measurement
Diagnostics
1. Select the type and model of the turbine whose revolutions you want to check. Move the slider to the appropriate working pressure for the turbine.
2. Place a calibrator or bur in the turbine.
3. Run the turbine on the move and put the lower part of the phone (microphone) closer to the turbine head. Press the Start button. Wait for the report to finish. The program displays the result at the bottom of the screen.
4. If you want to repeat the measurement, press New Measurement.
Test
1. Place a calibrator or bur in the turbine.
2. Run the turbine on the move and put the lower part of the phone (microphone) closer to the turbine head. The measurement will begin immediately. Wait for the report to finish.
If you want to repeat the measurement, click New Measurement.
WARNING! Side noises reduce precision of measurement.
It is not recommended to perform a measurement without a bur or calibrator.
