The only thing I don't like about this is that the ads are a lot louder than the programs, so I always have to whip off my headphones. Can't imagine that the advertisers like that I'm not listening to the spots they're paying for. Oh, and yes -- it needs Chromecast support.
It gets worse after every update I use to really enjoy this app everytime I wanted to catch up on the season I was watching it ran smoothly without buffering every second like it does now and so I'm uninstalling this app hope u fix this

Needs Chromecast Thia app really needs Chromecast support. When I try to view a video on the Global site on my phone or tablet with a web browser it refuses to run the video and tells me to download the app, but the app doesn't support Chromecast . Because of that I can't cast to my Chromecast from the app or web browser. I don't think it's okay to force what platform I view content on.
Ethernet? My device has Ethernet capabilities and would love to be able to watch that way, but the app doesn't recognize it is connected. Other apps do. Any chance of supporting Ethernet not just WiFi or cell data? Update: Now with the update, when I try to watch live I get "An error has occurred please try again later." Hopefully another update will come soon so I can watch live again....
Ads double the volume I don't mind watching the ads, but having to bring my volume down halfway each time is really annoying, especially with headphones. Overall the app works fine and I want to keep using it to support my favourite shows. CTV made great improvements to theirs, wondering if Global will follow.
