Run A Tighter Operation

- Build a week in minutes: Start fresh, copy last week, apply a saved template, or have Shift Amp draft the assignments for your review.
- Double-bookings cannot happen: An overlap is refused when you assign it and again at publish, so a person scheduled downtown at 4 can never also be scheduled uptown at 4.
- Know what a week costs as you build it: Set a rate by position, by person, or by a person in one position, and the estimate adds up by shift, day and week. Base wages, not overtime, taxes or tips.
- Clock in from a phone or the front counter: Punches and breaks from the team's phones, or a registered tablet with a PIN you can revoke.
- Close the week with clean hours: Export approved time as a CSV with a payroll ID per person. It will not generate until every timecard is approved.
- Keep standards on the shift: Opening and closing checklists, position qualifications, announcements and workplace guides in one place.

For Managers And Owners

- Conflicts caught before you publish: Every site keeps its own time zone, and time off, availability and qualification are checked as you build, then again at publish.
- Callouts resolve without chasing: Someone releases a shift, eligible coworkers are notified, one claims it, you approve. Unanswered requests escalate once to a manager.
- You pick, not a stopwatch: Several people can put a hand up for an open shift and you choose. Nobody is assigned to work by a race.
- Nothing reaches the team early: Drafts are invisible until you publish, and republishing tells only the people whose shifts moved.
- Cap the hours before they add up: A weekly ceiling on scheduled hours per person, counted across every location, as a warning or a hard stop. Your limit, not an overtime determination.
- See your backup before you need it: How many people could cover each shift, and which open shifts nobody is eligible for.
- Check the punch against the worksite: Give a location a radius and off-site clock-ins are flagged. Flagged, never blocked: GPS does not prove somebody was standing somewhere.

For Your Team

- Your next shift, first: Times, position and address in the location's time zone, with directions and tap to call.
- Nothing changes quietly: If a manager republishes your week, you see what moved, old time next to new.
- Can't work Saturday: Ask the team, offer the shift to one coworker, or propose a swap. It stays yours until a manager approves the handoff.
- Clock in with no signal: Punches queue on your phone and sync later, with breaks, your weekly hours, and a way to flag an entry that looks wrong.
- Location, only at the punch: If you use the time clock, the app reads your location at clock in and clock out. Never in between, never in the background, and you can decline and still clock in.
- Reminders on your terms: A push before your shift by default, or set up to three, each with its own timing and channel. Forget to clock out and the session can close after your shift ends, flagged for a manager.
- Say when you can work, once: Propose the availability your manager schedules around, flag the odd date, and request time off against your balance.
- A record, not a scoreboard: No scores, no rankings, no read receipts, no tracking between shifts.
