Ratings and reviews

The new showmax app is a downgrade, in my opinion. It is not as easy to use as before, and so many functions are either none existent or not in plain sight. Downloading is a different process than normal. There are no subtitles (which is awful ), and the option to alter the speed is not there. Some of my favourite shows have been removed too. I wish these functions were available. However, I have enjoyed the video quality and the series and shows I have watched so far.

The previous showmax was way better than the new one in so many ways. This one keeps loading, which is unfortunate especially if i have just bought bundles set to expire after 1 hour. Also, with the previous app, i could increase or decrease the sound by swapping up or down on my screen, but that feature is not in the current app...and so many issues.

I truly dislike this upgrade. So so so frustrating to use. The previous one was just amazing. The logo was warm and friendly, features were easy to understand & stress free renewing subscriptions. It was simple! I could minimize screen and continue to another app but with this upgrade seems the feature was scrapped off... Kindly do sth about these complains soonest possible... This one aah.. too complicated. 👎👎👎
