I opened an account with SIB because it was advertised as a "zero minimum balance required" account. Just 4 days after my account was opened, I got a message from them saying the rule is now changed and that the minimum balance now required is 1000 AED. Naturally I wanted to close the account since the only reason I opened the account was for the zero minimum balance. They said if you want to close an account before 6 months then you'll have to pay 105 AED. It's so frustrating.

i want to correct myself. previously, i said "one of the worst banking apps", the correct saying is "worst bankin app" in the UAE and may be planet earth. OTP not coming and sometimes coming but can not open the app!!! i want to give 0 (zero) but doesnt exist so I have to give 1 star, which it doesnt deserve...worst banking app ever!!!

the adding beneficiary is not working. it will ask permission to turn camera on for verification but then after camera is on it will turn off in blink of an eye without verification which seems like a glitch in system please fix the issue asap
