Home Inventory keeps a room-by-room list of the things you own, each with a replacement value, so the total is ready when you need it for an insurance claim, a move, or simple peace of mind.

WALK THROUGH YOUR HOME
• Start Walkthrough: name the room you are standing in, add its items, tap Done
• Give each item a category, brand, serial number, purchase date and notes
• Type a replacement value for each item and see it totalled per room

SEE THE TOTAL AT A GLANCE
• Home shows every room with its live item count and replacement total
• Long-press a room to rename or archive it; archived rooms leave the totals
• A twice-a-year reminder (1 January and 1 July) nudges you to walk through again, and it respects your quiet hours

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
• No account, no cloud, no sign-in: everything is stored in a local database
• Export a JSON backup to your Documents folder and import it on a new phone
• Works fully offline

The free app shows a small banner on the home screen and an occasional full-screen advert, plus a catalogue of our other local-first apps. These requests carry no personal data and nothing about your inventory.

Home Inventory does not take photos, scan receipts or store insurance policy numbers. It is the simple, honest list of what you own.
