Shift & Pay is the hours tracker for hourly and gig workers who want to know, before payday, what the week should come to.

CLOCK IN, CLOCK OUT
• One tap to clock in when a shift starts and one to clock out when it ends; the exact times are stored, not a running timer that resets
• Forgot? Add a past shift by hand with its start, end and any cash tips
• An open punch longer than 14 hours shows an urgent badge on Home so a forgotten clock-out never silently runs on

YOUR JOBS, YOUR RATES
• Add each job with its hourly rate and a simple daily overtime threshold (1.5x after 8 hours by default)
• Work for more than one employer? Keep them separate and see each one's hours

THIS WEEK, IN GROSS
• Home shows this week's hours, overtime and gross pay plus tips, worked out from your rate
• An optional reminder before the next shift starts, respecting your quiet hours

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
• No account, no cloud, no sign-in: everything is stored in a local database
• Export a JSON backup to your Documents folder and import it on a new phone
• Works fully offline

The free app shows a small banner on the home screen and an occasional full-screen advert, plus a catalogue of our other local-first apps. These requests carry no personal data and nothing about your shifts or pay.

Shift & Pay shows gross pay only. It does not calculate tax, link to a bank, reconcile payslips or track your location. It is the honest record of the hours you worked.
