Receipt Stash is the offline expense and mileage log for freelancers, contractors and side-hustlers who just need the numbers at tax time.

LOG EXPENSES IN SECONDS
• Add an expense with amount, date, the category name you choose and a note
• Edit or archive any entry later; nothing is ever silently deleted
• Amounts are stored to the cent and totalled exactly, never rounded away

TRACK MILEAGE YOUR WAY
• Log a trip with whole kilometres and a purpose
• Set your own rate per kilometre and the app multiplies it out for you
• The rate starts at zero until you set it: no built-in tax tables, no guessing

YEAR TOTALS ON THE HOME SCREEN
• Home shows this tax year's expense total and mileage total at a glance
• An optional weekly reminder (Sunday 09:00) nudges you to log the week, and it respects your quiet hours

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
• No account, no cloud, no sign-in: everything is stored in a local database
• Export a JSON backup to your Documents folder and import it on a new phone
• Works fully offline

The free app shows a small banner on the home screen and an occasional full-screen advert, plus a catalogue of our other local-first apps. These requests carry no personal data and nothing about your receipts or trips.

Receipt Stash does not photograph receipts, track GPS, link to a bank or calculate your tax. It is the honest ledger of what you typed, ready when you are.
