About this app
Make an LED banner that you can save as an animated file and show at full screen brightness. Marquee combines scrolling text, dot-matrix controls and a Library of reusable signs.
▶ SAVE THE ANIMATION
• Export animation as an MP4 video or a looping GIF, using the same dot mask and motion settings as the display.
• Export length defaults to one full scroll or sequence cycle, or enter your own seconds; then Share file or Save to gallery.
• MP4: 960 pixels wide, 15 frames per second, up to 60 seconds; height follows the dot rows (106, 240 or 480 pixels).
• GIF: 320 pixels wide (36, 80 or 160 high), 15 frames per second, up to 15 seconds, reduced colours.
▶ SHOW WITH FULL BRIGHTNESS
• Tap Show sign and the dots fill the screen; the column count follows the screen shape.
• With the phone upright, Show turns the sign sideways so the text runs along the long edge.
• Show mode sets the screen to full brightness and keeps it awake while your message is displayed.
• The previous brightness and screen-awake setting are restored when you close the sign or move the app to the background.
• Shaped text uses the device’s fonts; a warning appears if some characters are unsupported.
▶ MAKE YOUR MESSAGE
• Watch the Live dot preview as you edit the message.
• Choose 7, 16 or 32 Dot rows, Classic Latin dots or Shaped text, and round or square dots.
• Set the speed and move text left, right, up or down; a speed of zero gives a stationary sign.
• Choose the light colour and dot gap, then add glow, blink or rainbow effects.
• Text that starts in Arabic or Hebrew scrolls right by default.
▶ MESSAGE SEQUENCES AND PHONE WALLS
• Build a Message sequence with up to 32 messages and choose Seconds for each message.
• Messages play in sequence; scrolling restarts when the next message begins.
• Use Phone wall to manually align several phones into a wider sign.
• Create a Shared wall code, then share it, show it as a scannable code or paste it on each phone; pick the Phone slot and start.
• Each phone counts down to the scheduled start.
• Phase adjustment and Resynchronize help you adjust the timing.

• Save sign keeps its message and display settings in the Library on your phone.
• Reopen a saved sign to edit or display it again.
• Back up library creates a manifest and backup parts; Restore backup parts brings saved sign records back.
• The backup holds sign text, settings and deletion records, not exported videos or GIF files.
▶ GOOD TO KNOW
• Message entry is capped at 240 text units; some characters use more than one unit.
• GIF reduces resolution and colours; an animation's end may not match its start, especially with a custom length.
• Wall timing and alignment may need manual adjustment, text can vary with device fonts, and very long wall codes must be shared or pasted.
• Keep the backup manifest and all parts together. The app keeps your three latest exports; save or share any you want to keep.
