Vocal tune studio for your own beats: record over beats on headphones, tune the take to a key after recording, mix it and export. Vocal Booth writes each take to storage while you sing and keeps your beat exactly as it is.
▶ TAKES THAT SURVIVE A CRASH
• Your take is written to storage while you sing, saved about every half second.
• If the app crashes or is closed while recording, the take is recovered the next time you open it — up to the last saved moment (about half a second).
• Switching apps or locking the screen ends the take, and what was recorded is kept.
• Song edits save automatically, within 2 seconds of your last change.
• Deleted songs and takes can be brought back with Undo.
▶ YOUR BEAT, UNTOUCHED — WITH PROOF
• The beat is mixed as it is: not stretched and not pitch-shifted. Only a beat whose sample rate is not 44.1 or 48 kHz is converted, and its length is kept.
• After every export the app reads the finished file back and shows what is really in it: length, beat length, sample rate, stereo or mono and peak level.
• The output is limited to −1 dBFS so it does not clip.
▶ TUNE AFTER YOU RECORD
• Pick the key (12 notes) and the scale: major, minor, harmonic minor, major pentatonic, minor pentatonic, blues or chromatic.
• Strength from off to 100 %, retune speed from instant to 400 ms, and Keep vibrato.
• The TUNE lane shows the detected pitch in grey and the tuned line in cyan.
• The raw take is never changed — retune it again with other settings at any time.
▶ RECORD OVER YOUR BEAT
• Pick a beat file from your phone (for example MP3, M4A or WAV), up to 15 minutes long.
• Takes of up to 10 minutes each, numbered T1, T2 … on a timeline with BEAT, VOCAL and TUNE lanes, zoom and loop.
• Calibrate timing for your headphones: tap along with 8 clicks for an estimated alignment offset, then fine-tune any take with the Nudge slider (±250 ms).
• Open the demo song to try tuning and export right away: its beat and a slightly sharp sung tone are generated on your device.
▶ MIX AND EXPORT
• Vocal level and beat level from −24 to +6 dB, plus reverb. Play and Export use the same mix.
• Export M4A (AAC 192 kbps) or WAV 16-bit, as the full mix or the tuned vocal only.
• Share the file or save it to your device.
• Create a backup of your songs with their audio and restore it later.
▶ GOOD TO KNOW
• Tuning happens after recording, not live while you sing, and your voice is not played back in the headphones while recording.
• Works on one voice at a time. Breaths and consonants are left untouched.
• Beats are not supplied: you bring your own beat file.
• Recording runs only while the app is open on screen.
• Bluetooth headphones add delay — calibrate that route and check the timing. Wired headphones are recommended.
• Audio is processed on your device. The app uploads nothing; you can export or share it to a destination you choose.
• Ads appear on the song list and occasionally when you return to the app or after an export — never while you record, play or export.
