I've used Shuttle+ for years and really loved it. I've just changed phone from a stock android unit to one running EMUI 9.1 (Huawei) and I suspect this may be causing the issues; as another reviewer has pointed out, I started receiving a "shuttle+ service is running" notification banner, which was frustrating, especially on the lock screen where it stopped me from changing tracks. I rectified this after a lot of fiddling about with the notification settings, but this isn't something I've ever had to do previously. In addition, album artwork no longer displays full screen in the lock screen as it used to, which isn't really that important, but was an option I previously enjoyed. I still love the fact I can set the transparency of the widget however!

Following the demise of Google music I wanted an app that would Chromecast my music collection to my smart speakers. I have tried them all and wasted a lot of money and time in the process, since they all cut out and stop playing. In Shuttle I have found an app that works 99 % of the time and that as a simple clean UI. So this is now my default player , hopefully it will stay that way

Am completely unable to add songs to playlists, albums randomly get separated into two, and some albums just don't show up full stop. This app used to work perfectly, what happened?! Edit: Also the app will just randomly ignore what I was listening to, and play a completely different song instead - also erasing the music I had queued up. The latest update apparently fixed it, but no. It did not.
