I've had this app since the days you offered it ad free and have really enjoyed the interface. Now that I have a new phone without a native music player, I would like to install the new version and upgrade to ad free. However, I will NOT agree to 14.99 per month for the ad free version. That is a ridiculously high fee. That's higher than my Disney, Hulu, & ESPN subscription combined. Guess I will have to switch to another app that offers the same experience, but for a one time fee.

it WAS a perfectly good app. didn't mesh perfectly with my phone's ui so I had to actually be in the app to skip songs/pause, but it played my music. Now it's got ads. I'm not against making money off your app, but they want $14.99 a WEEK to go ad-free, and the ads have slowed down the app a lot, in addition to being invasive popups. I use an mp3 player because I can't afford Spotify Premium, and you think I'm going to pay 60 bucks a month for an app that doesn't even shuffle properly?

I really enjoyed the app for a while. It was good until it updated itself and went into dark mode, then these pop up ads made it hard to navigate back to song libary. ( I did not mind the ads before that were just on the side lines but now they are in my face). I hate to say it Simple Music Player, but our love relationship may be ending and I will look for new download. I don't mind paying a bit, but not this much.
