New app is terrible New app is terrible. Was going to buy the temperature sensor but now, ot only will i not buy one, it's looking like I will downgrade my service. I don't want to pay for the right to use a bad app. Old one was way better. New one is just plain terrible.
Worst update ever seen This beautiful app was drastically downgraded! Is shameful for such a good growing business! Please go back to old shape!
Update sucks This new version doesn't work. It's horrible. It doesn't provide any of the info I need or want or the functionality I'm paying the extra monthly fee for in order to use my phone to monitor and control my system.
Stupid "upgrade ", it doesn't work, nonintuitive , simply unreliable. Defeats the entire purpose of an upgrade, now it's unreliable. Uninstalled it twice in the hopes to get it to work, still not working, the other commenter are correct.
New Updated App Is Horrible They recently updated the app. Definitely worse than the previous version which looked great, had great features, was easy to use and worked very well. Developers...let's go back to the previous version... why fix whats not broken. One of the reasons I bought the simply safe package because of how it looked and worked on my droid turbo. I am seriously thinking about canceling my service due to this recent update. I was going to buy additional features...but now ???😞. This App has been dumbed way down.
The old app was fine. I became a beta tester of the new app in November 2015 and hated it so much that I reverted back to the old app the same day. Unfortunately, 7 months later I got the new app in an update and hate it still. I'm looking into how to revert back to the old app again. When I logged into the new app, it showed my system as OFF. And, the website, via my desktop, showed the system as OFF, as did the old app on my tablet. I contacted Simplisafe and they showed the system as set to AWAY. I logged out of the phone app and refreshed the desktop app and it immediately showed AWAY, as did the old app on my tablet. This confirms the exact same problem that I reported as a Beta Tester and is not resolved. In addition, the system said there was an issue yesterday with the smoke detector not communicating. When I called Simplisafe, we discovered that the ID in the setup wasn't close to correct (I never changed it), and they had no explanation for this. We changed it back, and it communicated just fine. Very disconcerting.
