Over the years, I've had 2 SimpliSafe systems, set up at 2 different homes, with 2 sets of hardware, and at least 2 phones. It has been a few years now, and I have never, ever experienced 2 months of trouble-free operation. There is always some type of issue. Random software issues with cameras, or a device has to be reset, reconnected, or replaced.

The app is unreliable and the overall experience has been very disappointing. It often feels slow, and dealing with customer support is even worse. I also had a terrible experience with their $200 referral gift card promotion. I qualified for the reward, but despite calling customer service multiple times, I never received it. Every time I contacted them, I got a different excuse instead of a solution.

The app and the cameras are absolute garbage. The app goes "temporarily" out of service for long periods of time, preventing all live access to your cams. The cameras disconnect randomly during recordings and live access. I have business Starlink and my speeds are well above what any residence would need, yet the customer support continuously blames my internet connection even though the cameras diagnose themselves as having good signal. Highly recommend you go a different route.
