Ratings and reviews

This app is really well put together. My 9yo works on her language lessons here without feeling overwhelmed as other language learning apps. I wouldn't say this app is "childish" or "for kids," it's just that it isn't overwhelming. Langiage learning, even for adults, is a daunting task. It shouldn't be any harder than what it already is. Ling has made it a balance if easy, hard, and enjoyable. Most importantly, it's effective. Motivation is #1 key to language acquisition. You have to enjoy it!

Excellent content, well organised and relevant vocab/phrases, and it differentiates formal/informal phrasing. My partner says it's all accurate. The market is severely lacking in good quality Cantonese learning resources so this is a great find. App is occasionally buggy and subscription is a bit too expensive IMO!

I really love the amount of material that there is! Great feel when you are in the app. The only thing that I wish would change is the fact that when I get the right answer correct in the multiple choice questions, it makes a sound when you get it right and then you have to click again to go to the next question. I think I would prefer the immediate switch to the next question. Also, when learning the words, it'd be awesome to be able to click the Chinese character and then be able to see a quick pop up on which character that is and it's meaning. Anytime you have a Chinese character you should incorporate this addition! Keep it up!
