Best Decision Ever Choosing the all access package was the best decision ever. There isn't a time or place where I don't have access to the music of my liking. There is even an on demand feature so I can catch shows I've missed....even if it's a day or two later. I no longer have to sit in my car to avoid missing my favorite song.. I can switch to my phone using the app, rewind and start the song over again. If you're considering it..take the leap, you won't regret it.
Great app easy to use I love the SiriusXM app! Easy access to on demand content! It's awesome how it lets you pick the audio quality also!! So on the go I can choose "normal quality" to save on data and at home "maximum quality" to shove that sweet BPM ear candy in my ear on WiFi. On a non app related note, ya'll are on drugs if you think the service is worth $20 a month with SO many cheaper competitors. Google play and Pandora do not make their loyal customers pay a music royalty fee! SiriusXMIR should be $9.99 that's fair.
My Go to Music Solution Still not improved. Needs a widget on Android so I can have it open right on the home screen. Every interruption at work requires I unlock the phone, then pull down the tray yo pause whatever I'm listening to. I love the seemingly unlimited favorites and ability to custom sort. Instagram shares would be awesome so I can tweet/Facebook what I'll listening to at once with album art!
Good but needs fixed So every channel that has a live broadcast works perfectly. But the channels that have a mix just for you keep skipping songs. Like the heat channel for example. When I play "my heat" songs skip to the next song randomly. Some times it will skip past 4 songs before it will stop and play a song. The app does this all by itself. I've tried clearing the app cache but that doesn't fix it. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled and that doesn't fix it. I hope the developers take a look at this.
I love it, love it.....but I love having satellite at my disposal. Fantasy football while I'm doing the lawn or have the snowblower out. It has many handy features, make sure you experiment with all of the options including the "mix". The "but" is the cost. We were able to blend the $5 cost with a car subscription while using the other vehicle's subscription to reduce it many dollars. It's still expensive. Yes, you can get it for $5 if you have a lower tier subscription. You have to call to get the best rate.
Great app, love Howard, but no Chromecast support is a bad move. The app has improved a lot over the years, with more channels than your Starmate radio. Im disappointed it doesn't have Chromecast & Chromecast Audio support. I have a Sirius boombox in the garage, but don't use it for satellite. I have a Chromecast Audio attached, Sirius needs to get with it and enable CC streaming.
