Deceptive advertising. It mines your data up front, and just when you build that profile, you can almost feel the payment popup that does follow, but I was caught off guard that right behind it was a second one. And the first "free trial" is an AI chatbot. You can literally get this for free on ChatGPT. Low effort scammy app. Even in the comments they tell you there is no free plan, so it's a paid app, not a free app with in-app purchases.

NOT A SCAM App!!! I have skillsta and I absolutely love it! I use it with my kids as a game and it's helped us grow and communicate better as a family and with others. I don't know about cancellation because I love it so much and it is worth the price. I never had any issues with the app or customer service. I think buyers remorse and user error, technical glitches, or lack of commitment/ self-discipline might be possible variables responsible for other bad reviews. I love it.

I like the content, not ground breaking, but helpful for someone who's not socially confident. Not really a fan of how the initial subscription options are presented, 3 days free then are locked in to a weekly rate, I doubt there will ever be an app I pay weekly for. So having the option for the 3 day trial followed by a yearly subscription would have felt more inviting to me. And of course I know I had the option to cancel the weekly and get the yearly, but that felt like too many steps.
