Rave Steps transforms every rave into a real-time step competition. When you open the app for the first time, you create your profile and connect with Apple Health so your steps sync automatically without needing any additional devices. Then you can create a group or join one to compete with your friends, and join a "rave," which is the competition associated with a specific festival or party with its own start and end dates.

During the event, your steps are updated on a live leaderboard where you can see your position and that of your entire group in real time as you dance. At the end of the rave, the app crowns the person who took the most steps with an in-app coronation ceremony and saves the result to your history of previous raves so you can relive past competitions.
